Six Thinking Hats.

AMARAN: ENTRY KALI INI, AKU NAK CERITA PASAL SOMETHING YANG RELATED TO MY CLASS. SO ENTRY KALI NI, TIADA KAITAN DENGAN PERSONAL BLOG. hehehe. tapi kalau nak baca jugak..there's no restriction... ;)


THIS IS NOT AN "ISSUE"



DATE: AUGUST 5TH, 2011
TIME: 7.45 - 10.00 am
VENUE: BKM 2.16
TOPIC: New Female Engineers are not Capable of Handling Fieldwork.
ATTIRE: TRADITIONAL ATTIRE (you may wear different colour, but must follow the theme with the same colour of hats, different designs-as we have discussed)


1st round- Introduction=> (20 mins) / ecah group about 2 mins
                  1) introduce your colour of hats.
                  2) explain briefly the function of your hats.



2nd round- Explanation based  on your hats opinion. => (30 mins) / each group about 5 mins
the flow...
              -White hats will state their facts, statistic or any problem regarding the topic.

( 5minutes break for Blue hats to ask others' objection or opinion

              -Yellow hats will support any details that relevant for their group.

                                               ( 5minutes break for Blue hats to ask others' objection or opinion)

              - Black will start giving their objection

                                            
  rest 2-3 mins (think for another point)


3rd round- Debate => (50mins)
                -Red giving out their points of view.
                - Green give their relevant opinion.
                -Yellow & Black can interrupt as well at this point.
                - Blue will ask for each hats' vote whether you are agree with the topic or otherwise.
                - Blue will wrap up the discussion and giving out the conclusion.



Regulations.

1) If you have spoke during the first round, you are strictly advised not to talk during the second round. but you are allowed to help your group members if they stuck at that particular moment.(marks will be given for those who speaks.)

2) After the White hats had spoken, Blue will ask for other hats to express their feeling according to their role of hats. If there's no objection, the next group is allowed to continue.

3) During the 3rd round, Red and Green will dominate the discussion. In a meantime, other hats can give their objection, too whenever you have the ideas-according to your role.

4) If you want to interrupt, you need to raise up your hand FIRST.

5) If you have reached the time limits, Blue will ring the bell to acknowledge your time limit.
       1st bell- you have another 2 mins
       2nd bell- you need to stop.

6) Pay your focus during other's presentation. RESPECT other's point of view. example.
           " i am absolutely appreciate your point of view, but for my point of view.... (.....your point....)"

7) Marks will be given based on your interaction with other group (to stand with your point)

8) Marks will be deducted/ will not be given, if you are not able to cooperate with your group partner/ not speak during the 1st/2nd/3rd round.

9) Be ON TIME or your marks will be deducted.

10) You are allowed to bring any kind of sources that reliable to this topic which can help you during the discussion.
